How to delete your data from The Post Engine
Log in at thepostengine.com, go to Settings, and click "Delete Account." This permanently deletes your account and all associated data, including your Brand DNA profiles, competitor reports, generated content, connected account tokens, and personal information. Most data is removed within 30 days. Data obtained through YouTube API Services is deleted within seven days, as required by YouTube.
To remove a single connection (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, or LinkedIn), go to Settings and click "Disconnect" next to that account. This revokes our access and deletes the stored token immediately.
You can also revoke access directly from the platform:
Disconnecting stops future access. It does not delete content already published on that platform — you delete published posts from the platform itself.
If you cannot access your account, email support@thepostengine.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address on your account. We will process your request and delete all associated data within 30 days, and any YouTube API data within seven days. We may need to verify your identity first.
The Post Engine can generate competitor reports from publicly available information about accounts, channels, and websites. If your public information appears in one of these reports and you want it removed, email support@thepostengine.com with the subject line "Removal Request" and identify the username, channel, or website URL concerned.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten. We may retain limited billing records where tax or accounting law requires it. See our Privacy Policy for full retention details.
